Frequently Asked Questions

Mobile Marine Service in the Florida Keys — answered.

What areas do you serve?

3 Marine Mobile KW serves the entire Lower and Middle Keys: Key West, Stock Island, Big Coppitt Key, Sugarloaf Key, Cudjoe Key, Summerland Key, Big Pine Key, and Marathon. We come directly to your dock, slip, mooring, marina, or residential canal — no need to haul your boat.

Are you actually Mercury Certified?

Yes. Our team is factory-certified by Mercury Marine and uses the same Mercury CDS G3 diagnostic platform that Mercury dealers use. That matters for accurate diagnostics, warranty-compliant repairs, and engine longevity. We are also ABYC Master Technician certified, NMEA certified for electronics, and fully licensed and insured in the State of Florida.

What brands do you service?

We service Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Yanmar outboards and inboards; Power-Pole shallow-water anchors; Garmin electronics; and we install and repair NextGen Marine, Custom Marine Products, and Liqui Moly products. Mercury is our certified specialty.

How quickly can you come out?

For most service calls in the Lower Keys we offer same-week appointments, and same-day for many issues. Emergencies are handled as a priority based on availability and weather. Call (305) 832-1206 or book online to get a slot fast.

What does mobile marine service mean?

Mobile service means our certified technicians load the service truck with diagnostic tools, parts, and equipment, and come to your boat — wherever it is in the Keys. You don't pay for hauling, you don't lose your boat for weeks at a shop, and you don't lose fishing days. We work at your dock, slip, marina, or mooring.

What services do you offer?

We provide Mercury diagnostics and repair, full engine repair and overhaul (outboards, inboards, sterndrives, and marine diesel), and marine electrical services (wiring, batteries, electronics installation, troubleshooting, and AC/DC systems). We also handle 100-hour and 300-hour service, lower-unit work, fuel-system service, and powerhead overhauls.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is based on the type of service, labor hours, and parts required. A standard mobile call-out fee applies. We give you a clear quote before work starts whenever possible. Payment is due in full upon service completion unless arranged otherwise in writing. We accept credit cards and bank transfers.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We provide a 90-day warranty on parts we install and labor we perform, subject to normal use and maintenance. Warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or unauthorized subsequent repairs. Manufacturer warranties (Mercury, Yamaha, etc.) apply per the manufacturer's terms.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment receive a full refund of any call-out fee paid. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time may incur a 50% fee. We may reschedule due to weather or safety conditions at no charge to you.

Will I get text message updates?

Yes, with your consent. When you book a service we'll send appointment confirmations, technician dispatch and arrival notifications, and invoice updates by SMS. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I book a service?
